This Isn’t Just a Farm. It’s a Movement.

Our Mission

At Crescent Moon Farms, we believe real food comes from real farms—the way God intended. No chemicals. No antibiotics. No sketchy loopholes. Just happy animals, thriving land, and the kind of food your great-grandma would actually recognize. We’re here to shake up the food system, one pasture-raised, no-BS meal at a time.

Our Vision

Imagine a world where people know their farmer, kids actually want to eat their dinner, and we’re not all battling mystery health issues caused by the junk in our food. That’s the future we’re growing—one where food is clean, farming is honest, and gathering around the table actually means something. Crescent Moon Farms isn’t just a farm; it’s a movement (and a really fun one at that).

our Crew

A hardworking bunch with muddy boots, big hearts, and an unapologetic belief in real food.

Born and raised in Maryland, Megan comes from a long line of farmers. She didn’t set out to start a farm—but when she couldn’t find food in grocery stores that met her standards, she decided to grow it herself. Crescent Moon Farms was built from that spark: a desire to raise better-than-organic, regeneratively grown food that truly nourishes people.

Today, Megan is raising her two children on the land while preparing the farm store to offer locally made goods, pantry staples, household basics, and the meat and eggs they raise right here. She’s passionate about giving her community a place to gather, learn, and reconnect with where their food comes from.

"I didn’t want to keep lowering my standards to fit the food system—I wanted to raise the bar instead."

Founder & Farmer
Chris Carroll, with short brown hair and a short beard, standing in a field.
Chris discovered his love for agriculture while working in vineyards in Upstate New York and New Zealand. After graduating from the University of Hawaii with a degree in tourism management, he realized his passion wasn’t for serving food—it was for understanding how it’s grown.

Now a full-time firefighter, father, and part-time farmer, Chris spends his off days building and preparing the land for production. He’s deeply driven by the belief that our food system has been compromised, and he’s committed to doing something about it—one pasture, one animal, and one honest meal at a time.

"I care less about how food is plated—and a whole lot more about how it’s raised."
